Normally at home, we usually eat it with bread and some meat or a fried egg but this time it occurred to me that pizza with vegetable ratatouille and serrano ham could be a different way of eating it.

The manchego ratatouille, in principle, just as ingredients pepper and tomato. That is why the recipe says vegetable ratatouille that is also quite popular in my land. The truth is that that ratatouille of vegetables admits many variants, I bring you what I do.

Ingredients for 2 medium pizzas

  • for the dough: 200 gr of warm water, 50 gr of oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, 20 gr of pressed yeast, 400 gr of strength flour.
  • for the ratatouille: 300 grams of zucchini, 150 grams of red peppers, 150 grams of green pepper, 300 grams of onion, 100 grams of virgin olive oil, 500 grams of crushed natural tomatoes, salt, and pepper.
  • For pizza: taquitos of ham and grated cheese (mozzarella or Emmental).

How to make pizza with ratatouille and serrano ham

The first thing we are going to do is pizza dough. To do this, we put in the glass water, oil and salt. We program 1 minute, 37º and speed 4. Then we add the yeast and mix 10 seconds, speed 4. Next, we add the flour of strength and we program 5 minutes at speed 5 and, finally, we knead we program 1 minute, spike speed.

Remove the dough from the thermomix glass and put it in a bowl. It has to be covered so that it leads up to double its volume. Lifting time will depend on the environmental conditions, normally it is about 30 minutes.

While the lumpy dough, we prepare the ratatouille. Vegetables are washed and chopped by programming 4 seconds, speed 4. Then we add the olive oil. We program 15 minutes, varoma temperature, left turn and spoon speed. Then, add the tomato, salt and pepper, and program 20 more minutes with the same parameters as before.

We preheat the oven to 220º, remove the dough from the bowl, degassed with your fist and divide into 2. Stretch the dough, giving it a rounded shape. Once this is done, we apply the ratatouille above. Then, the ham taquitos and then sprinkle the grated cheese (mozzarella or Emmental). Bake about 20 minutes lowering the temperature to 200 ° C.


To taste the pizza of vegetable ratatouille and serrano ham you must wait for it to cool, cut into portions and consume it. With a salad, you will have a perfect dinner. In addition, it is an ideal way to make children eat vegetables, camouflaged in the form of pizza. I hope you like it as much as we liked it.
