That is why we continue to innovate and contribute ideas and combinations of ingredients that help us not to fall into the routine. Today we wanted to lighten this popular snack with a green pizza that is, like all its sisters, very simple and quick to prepare.

The combination of vegetables to use is optional. We have used broccoli and zucchini, but wild asparagus, peas, beans, spices or any other green vegetable are great for you. To make our green pizza as light as possible we recommend not to overdo it with cheeses, but this can be complicated for your faithful lovers. Can you control yourself?

To prepare the dough in Thermomix, we pour the water and oil into the glass and program 1 minute, 37º at speed 4. We add the pressed yeast, mix 5 seconds at speed 4. Next, we introduce the flour, semolina and a pinch of salt (a level teaspoon) and program 1 minute, glass closed at spike speed.

To prepare the dough in a traditional way, heat the water in the microwave for 30 seconds, add the crushed pressed yeast and let stand a couple of minutes. We place the flour on the countertop, make a hole in the center and add the previous mixture and the oil. We remove the liquids while we incorporate the flour from the outside. Before adding all the flour to the mixture, add the salt. We continue kneading for a minute or until obtaining a homogeneous mass.

We can let the dough rise in a bowl sprinkled with flour and covered with a clean cloth for half an hour, but this is optional. Divide the dough into three and spread each of them on the baking sheet lined with sulfurized paper or sprinkled with flour. We cover the base with the basil pesto and distribute small pieces of broccoli, diced zucchini and mozzarella cheese on the surface.

Water with a drizzle of extra virgin olive oil (optional), season and cook on the base of the oven, preheated to 300ºC, for eight minutes or until the base is cooked to our liking. We remove the honor and distribute the blue cheese and fresh oregano on the surface at the time of serving.

With what to accompany the green pizza

We usually recommend accompanying our pizzas with green leafy salads and today, despite how redundant it may be, we do the same. This green pizza is going to look very well balanced if we accompany it with a salad, either green leaves, tomato or the one we like the most. Not forgetting a fresh beer, of course.
